We made some phone calls on our own after finding a few houses that interested us. One of those agents that returned our calls was Ed Freeman. Even though the initial house we inquired about didn't seem to fit us, Ed followed up with exactly what we were looking for and put together a few showings. Within a week, we were negotiating a deal and pleased to announce that we just closed on our dream home last week! He walked us through EVERY SINGLE STEP of the process right down to the closing. Real estate agent who was a pleasure to work with in the rare event we asked a question that Ed did not have the complete answer to, he promptly contacted those who could provide the necessary information. When the process of getting to settlement on our new home grew somewhat long and tedious, Ed was the one source we could count on for updates as he diligently worked behind the scenes facilitating communication between all parties involved.

Firstly, I had done a lot of research prior to meeting Ed, and even so, he showed us a house that I had not even seen on the listings. We ended up falling in love with it and he guided us through the bidding process (there was another offer) and we were able to get it. That's only the beginning with Ed. He helped us throughout the whole process- with contracts, with homeowner insurance, inspections, etc. He was always very very responsive and offered his help and guidance well after his responsibilities were done. We had been trying to deal with several brokers in the area and kept feeling like we were getting the run around, and as if the brokers we were dealing with prior to Ed kept trying to steer us towards properties they wanted us to buy, not properties that fit our needs. During the entire negotiation process, Ed was in constant contact with us providing us updates. After our offer was accepted Ed helped us secure a local home inspector, mortgage broker, and legal assistance. His connections and contacts on the island are unparalleled. He knows everyone and knows how to get things done. Once we met Ed the entire home buying process became painless. He is driven to provide for his clients.

When researching comparative properties in order to derive a market price for the property. he was aggressive with marketing the property in print and online. When marketing the property, the phone number used goes directly to him and not a random person in the office. He works with a professional photographer and stager that produced very appealing pictures of the property. We all know how a good picture can say a thousand words. However, Ed has a flare with words and he uses that talent when describing your property in the listing. He has a diverse network of professionals he can rely on or to refer if a potential client does not know the area. He has a good working relationship with township personnel to work through permits/CO's etc. He was open to my suggestions and we worked together to over come any obstacles.

Since then I've worked with many realtors, but none have been as consistently responsive to my needs than Ed Freeman. Ed brings much to the table as he has a diversified background including a business education and real world experience in running his own businesses.
